Hello!
I’m Julz Clementine
I am Daydream Believer
I create bold expressive murals, workshops,
and surface patterns for licensing.

Play is at the heart of my practice, where creativity
becomes a path to deeper connection.

I was commissioned Summer 2025 thru PSAA to create this mural for The Lloyd District. Photo by PSAA

I designed and painted this piano during the summer of 2018 for Piano. Push. Play., a project started by Megan Diana where pianos are rescued, made beautiful by artists, put on the street for everyone to enjoy, and then given to schools and community centers. Now permanently residing at Portland Children's Museum.

I created this mural in the summer of 2016 to feature the ceramic art pieces the kids made during the school year. The mural which faces 82nd ave is now the backdrop to a new outdoor classroom that was installed in 2019.

I believe in the importance of slowing down, being present
and looking deeper as a means for discovering the magic that surrounds us daily and the brilliance that we each possess.
As an artist who travels internationally, I embody playful expression - creating murals that respond intuitively to the energy, scale, and spirit of place.
I invite people of all ages
to connect with each other
and themselves through
playful art experiences.
Through licensing, I bring my
playful, tactile illustrations to products that invite connection, discovery, and everyday delight.
My creative process begins with my hands -
exploring texture, material, and playful experimentation.

I love the surprises and imperfections that creating with cut paper adds to my work

Through cut paper play, I explore pattern, compositions and letters
by shaping forms by hand - allowing rhythm, texture, and my intuition
to guide the work.

Tactile materials and drawing are
central to my practice, serving as
a playful entry point for exploration,
learning, and creative confidence.

Meditative drawings become pieces of patterns

Playing with clay is an ever-evolving experiment. My small batch, hand-built ceramics have become a favorite place to explore ideas and create unique objects that create connection and expression.

From this place of play and presence, art becomes
not just something made, but something lived.
